This is part one of a two-part series where I show you to paint Starry Night by Van Gogh.

Y’all, I’m so excited to do this. I’ve painted Starry Night so many times, it’s one of my favorites! I first started painting it when I was an Elementary school teacher in North Texas, then I began teaching it at my local paint party events. Last year I even did a Virtual Starry Night Class on my Facebook page!

Now, If you are thinking you can’t do this or doubting yourself, I want you to get that out of your head. I’ve taught this to children and adults of all ages. I’ve taught this acrylic painting to thousands of people! Some of the cutest paintings I’ve seen were painted by five-year-old’s.

So, are you ready? Are you excited? Get the printable step-by-step painting tutorial and art supply list here.

Now that you have your art supply list and step-by-step instructions it’s time to gather your art supplies and start painting. You can paint this on canvas, like me, but it would also be cute painted on a round door hanger, porch sign, and even as a wall mural! Remember, you don’t even have to use the same colors as me, you can get totally creative and do your painting in any color combination you want.

I’d love to see your completed paintings, comment below with a picture.
